Kirkland Kid's Activities

August 20, 2019

We have reached that time of year, where summer comes to its inevitable end and your children start returning back to their normal routines. But not to worry, the fun is not all completely over! As fans of summer we enjoy spending time with our families all over Kirkland, but why limit yourself to only the summertime?

Enjoy the last few days of summer and the rest of the year with these kid-friendly activities!

Learn to make an after school snack

If you want to involve your young ones in their afterschool snack making, or have extra help making dinner, then Froglegs Culinary is just the place. Between camps, weekday classes, teen classes, and adult & kid classes there is something for every aspiring chef year round!

Stay Active

When your kids have built up energy from a rainy day, a gymnastics class at NW Aerials is the perfect way to get them active and moving! One event that they offer (that we will definitely be using) is ”parent’s night out”. On specific nights listed, you can drop your kids off for a night of pizza, gymnastics, trampoline, ninja, inflatables, crafts and more, while you enjoy a night out!

Get Creative

If your walls need some new artwork, consider sending your little ones to AL Studio. They offer classes for kids, camps, adult & kid classes, they even help with teen’s portfolio prep! Your kids will create works of art with guided classes that teach different techniques all while they are having fun!

Pump up the fun

Your whole family will be jumping for joy when you visit Pump It Up Party on family jump night every 2nd & 3rd Friday of each month! Pump It Up Party also offers open jump times during the week, bubble jumps, and specific jump times for the younger ones. This place is so fun your kids won’t want to leave!

Get Outdoors

Weather permitting, consider visiting one of the many parks that Kirkland has to offer with your kids! We are lucky here in Kirkland to have so many parks to choose from and no two are the same. Use this guide to explore what makes each park unique before you visit.

Our goal at Windermere Kirkland is to be a resource for the community. Aside from helping you buy or sell your home, our team is dedicated to adding value to our city. Every other Tuesday we will be posting a blog post highlighting different people, businesses, communities, and more throughout Kirkland. Stay tuned!
