Windermere Kirkland is Moving!

After years of planning and a year and a half of construction, we are proud to announce that Windermere Kirkland is officially moving into our next home! If you have been following us on this journey you know that it has been a long one in the making. As with any construction project, unforeseen issues and delays can cause opening day to get pushed back. However, none of us could have predicted the delay we would encounter in March of 2020. We are so thankful to our construction team and everyone involved in moving the building along during this time of uncertainty. They pivoted, changed plans, and ultimately made it all happen!
Although our opening day has been slightly delayed to later this month, if you were to look at the building right now everything is completely finished. Behind the scenes, there are minor delays that our team is working around the clock to complete.
Our broker team is also patiently waiting to start up in this new building. Not only has there been built up excitement, but also a sentimental outlook on this move. We have been working somewhat remotely since March 2020. Our weekly team meetings, which once lit up our Tuesdays, moved online, and our team activities and in-person office culture took a pause. This new building represents a new chapter for our team. It is the first time we will all be together again, it is the first time each broker will have their own office space, and the first time many of our brokers will have met each other!
Throughout this year and a half, our team has continued to grow, and what would normally be a big welcome to the Windermere Family was delayed. We look forward to our newer brokers experiencing the Windermere Kirkland difference while meeting their teammates.
This moment in time is also special for our brokers who have been with us for over 20 years. After hearing about this dream and being a part of our team throughout the years, they can now see this dream of ours become a reality, and live it with us!
Beyond our office, we have begun reaching out to the Kirkland community, including the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce, to host monthly happy hours, wine tastings, educational events, and more. Stay tuned for more Windermere Kirkland events coming soon!
