PNW Mike Check Podcast Episode #5: Shelley Aaker - Windermere Kirkland

We were so excited to kick off the new year with the fifth episode of PNW Mike Check! Our very special guest on this episode was Shelley Aaker, the director of broker services and office manager here at Windermere Kirkland. Shelley, a flexible team player who is always ready to help, works magic for our office.
If you have ever visited us on Market St., it is likely you have met Shelley, the wonder woman of Windermere Kirkland. When asked what her role within the office is, moderator Sofia joked that the question should have been, “What don’t you do around the office?”, since Shelley and her team are always ready to help. From day-to-day tasks like taking calls and writing emails, to assisting brokers to point them in the right direction, Shelley is always problem solving to get it done.
With 56 brokers on our team, and growing, people are a big part of the day-to-day at Windermere Kirkland, and that is what Shelley loves most about our office. With a people-first mindset - the owners, brokers, staff, and clients all contribute to the atmosphere that Shelley is so drawn to.
Although Shelley misses seeing her team and spending time with them, she looks forward to the new construction being completed, and our new office finally being open. Before that happens though, Shelley has a big task on her hands to lead the move to a much bigger office than we currently have. With years of office manager experience, Shelley has moved a few offices before so we know we are in good hands!
