Sunny skies indicate that our favorite season is almost here! Warm weather coupled with lots to do in our beautiful city of Kirkland makes Summer an irresistible time of year. With so many amazing options of what to do, it can be hard to choose where to start! That is why our office at Windermere Kirkland has compiled the perfect guide to your summer activities. Whether you love an adventure or just want to relax and listen to music, there is something on this guide for everyone!
Denny Fest
Think of DennyFest like a huge block party! Live music, great food, even a dog show for your favorite furry friends! If you are new to Kirkland this is a great way to meet some of your neighbors and community members! Check out this link for more information on the August 17th event!
Kirkland Summer Concerts
You can’t have summer without outdoor concerts! Starting July 11th, every Thursday from 7-8: 30 pm you can enjoy live music in Marina Park in Downtown. Grab your favorite lawn chair, pack a picnic, and enjoy an evening of music on the water!
Have little ones? They can enjoy summer music as well every Tuesday from 10-11 am starting July 9th at Juanita Beach! Find out who is playing here!
Stand Up Paddle Board
If you are looking to enjoy the lake this summer, think about renting a stand-up paddle board at Houghton Beach Park or Juanita Beach Park! Being out on the water and balancing on a paddle board is just the right amount of adventure and relaxation. Paddle boards are available for rent every day throughout the summer, weather permitting!
Fourth Of July Parade & Celebration
Celebrate the red, white, and blue all day long in Kirkland! With a children’s parade starting at 11:30 am, the Old Fashioned Downtown Parade starting at noon and fireworks happening at 10:15 pm, there is plenty of fun to keep the whole family entertained all day!
Visit As Many Parks As Possible
Make it a challenge for the entire family to visit as many of the amazing parks in Kirkland! From small to large, waterfront or hidden in neighborhoods, Kirkland has a lot of fun parks to offer, and you can say you have been to them all. Get the complete guide here to get started with your family!
