Kirkland - it is both difficult and easy to write you a love letter. Difficult because how exactly do you put into words a place like Kirkland? Easy because there is no end to how we feel about this city we love so much.
Kirkland - your humble energy envelopes all who discover you. With so many reasons to brag, yet you sit nestled on Lake Washington providing comfort and home to so many without a self-righteous sense of pride. You are proud though, of everyone who lives, works and plays here.
Kirkland - your luscious green parks, your blue waters, provide a breath of fresh air right here in our backyards. How lucky are we to be surrounded by your beauty, always!
Kirkland - we are thankful for your love of the arts. With statues, local art showcased, plays, music, and everything in between, our creative minds are always kept nourished here in your city.
Kirkland - they say home is where the heart is, and we are so glad ours is here.
